Troubleshooting

  • Ensure you have thoroughly cleansed the eyes and surrounding skin. Any oils or makeup left on the skin will act as a barrier and prevent the pads from sticking securely.

  • Thoroughly cleanse eyes and lashes before appliation as any oils or makeup residue will act as a barrier and prevent the extensions from sticking.

Check your room humidity and temperature, too low humidity will take the adhesive longer to cure.

Check you are using the correct amount of adhesive, too much will take longer to cure and possibly create a mushroom at the base of the lash. Too little adhesive means the adhesive will have begun to cure before touching the natural lash. Try double dipping the extension in the glue to create a microbead at the base.

  • The glue grabs quickly in the correct conditions but does not cure immediately. Hold the extension in place a few seconds longer, when the glue begins to cure and has grabbed securely it will lose its shine.

  • Applying too much pressure during lash application will push the lashes onto the pads. To prevent this, ensure pads are in the correct position and use tape to gently lift the lashes off the pads, being careful not to open the eye allowing adhesive fumes to enter and cause a chemical burn.

  • A poor adhesive bond. Shock curing through too much moisture/watery eyes (shock cured bonds will turn white).

Not enough adhesive used per extension. The adhesive has begun to cure before touching the natural lash. Double dip the extension in the glue to create a microbead at the base for application.

  • Baby/anagen lashes are awkward to keep out the way during isolation. We do not lash anagen lashes but, you can place a single ultra thin 0.05 lash onto said lashes to aid easy and clean isolation.
